Dr Andrew Frukacz was first awarded a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Adelaide School of Medicine in 1983. He then went on to specialise in the field of psychiatric medicine, being awarded a Fellowship with the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists in 1995.

Dr Frukacz has worked as a consultant psychiatrist in Bathurst and regional NSW since 1997. He has a wealth of knowledge and experience across all areas of adult mental health and has assisted many people to work through and overcome life's challenges.

Dr Frukacz believes everyone deserves exceptional health services regardless of their circumstances and as such, throughout the year he provides consultant services to rural and remote areas throughout Australia including western Queensland, the Kimberly Region of Western Australia and remote regions like Broken Hill.

Dr Frukacz is also a visiting consultant to the Bathurst Base Hospital Panorama Inpatient Unit and the Bathurst Community Mental Health Unit. Dr Frukacz also has admitting rights to the Bathurst Private Hospital.

His warm approachable demeanour means patients are very comfortable in his presence.

 

Nadia Zanco

Nadia is a registered nurse and credentialed mental health nurse. She completed her general nurse training at the Broken Hill Base Hospital in 1986, and in 1989 she completed her psychiatric nursing at the Roselle and Gladesville Psychiatric Hospitals in Sydney.

On completion of a Bachelor of Health Science (Nursing) from the Southern Cross University, Nadia was one of the first nurses accepted into the postgraduate training program of the Australia and New Zealand Association of Psychotherapy. During this time she was mentored by many of Australia’s leading clinicians such as Emeritus Professor Dr Russell Meares, Associate Professor Dr Joan Haliburn and Dr Robert Gordon.
