Jane’s clinical work with individuals, children and families extends back to the 1980s. During this time she has also held academic posts, researching and lecturing in Queensland and NSW. Much of her research has been about infants and their wonderful capabilities, but also about her work in indigenous communities and with young people ‘at risk’. Jane’s main training was in the UK and she holds a PhD from Cambridge University. She is always learning, especially from her clients.

Lia Blaikie

Lia Blaikie is a Clinical and Counselling Psychologist with extensive experience working with children, adolescents, adults and families, with a range of presenting problems, concerns and/or diagnoses. Lia has been conducting a private practice -  Helicon Consultancy since 1995. She provides individual, couple and family counselling and therapy services, cognitive assessments, and clinical supervision. Her previous psychological experience includes work in Education and Aged Care. Lia is trained and experienced in various therapeutic approaches including Gottman Method Couples Therapy.
